ABOUT ME
Hi!! My name is Mira Rose Morris and I'm happy you're here :)
I am a performer, musician, arts administrator, and educator in the DMV. I'm originally from Pittsburgh, PA, but moved to DC and received a BA in Musical Theatre from American University as well as a duel degree in Communication Studies. At American, I was an active member of the Department of the Performing Arts, most recently seen in AU's productions of 9 to 5: The Musical (Margaret) and As You Like It (Taub) (Miss Amiens, Guitarist, u/s Duke Frederick).
Currently, I am swinging NextStop Theater's production of Once! I have had the most incredible experience with the most wonderful cast and production team and I am so grateful to be a part of this beautiful show. During the day, I am working this summer at Imagination Stage, camp managing the musical theatre production camps.
Since graduating, I've split my time working previously as an assistant producer and administrative assistant at the Kennedy Center in the Theater for Young Audiences department, while continuing to teach at Imagination Stage. I am incredibly passionate about the future of arts education, and I love creating!
In the little bits of free time I have, I love spending time with my family and friends, playing instruments, reading, puzzling, and watching movies.
